I’m Berto.
As a fashion photographer born in Cartagena, Colombia and raised in Florida, I have a unique perspective on beauty, style, and enthusiasm. My parents moved to the United States when I was thirteen in order to give my sisters and I a better future. Now, I am based in New York City but travel around the world for various photography projects.
My goal as a photographer is to capture the essence of people through their clothing and style. I look for a sense of defiance and vulnerability in my images, and specialize in portraiture. Some of my clients include Getty Images, Airbnb, Hypebeast, The Vintage Twin, Fashion Week Online Magazine, and Getty Travel.
I am passionate about showcasing the beauty and individuality of people through my work, and I strive to create striking and emotive images that tell a story.
